a fun experiment

I'm sorry to say that avTag is no longer an active product.

For the last few years I've been intending to modernise the iOS app, create web browser plug-ins to tag things like YouTube videos and much more but sadly I've just not had the available time.

It's a hard decision to make but I've withdrawn the app from the App Store and the source code has been archived.

Thank you to everyone who bought avTag and thank you if you ever reported a bug or made a suggestion for a new feature or just sent me a message saying that you were enjoying using it. Particular thanks go to Marcello Luppi (Wrinkly Pea Design) for the user interface designs and for a fabulous logo and to Steve 'Scotty' Scott for helping get the word out about what I was developing. Both also provided a huge amount of moral support without which avTag might never have seen the light of day.

In memory of avTag, below are some images of the final as well as earlier designs of the app.
